The Wright Bodywork & Wellness Story
Where Healing Hands, Science, and Care Transform Lives
Meet Edward Wright: The Healing Hands Behind WBW
Born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, Edward Wright has dedicated over 18 years to mastering therapeutic restorative massage. His path was intentional from the start. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Health & Recreation from Voorhees College, Edward trained at the prestigious Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy, perfecting his skills in Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, and specialized techniques.
When he was employed at Massage Envy, Edward earned the title of Massage Therapist of the Year six times. He became the Most Requested Therapist for seven consecutive years, mentoring new therapists and ensuring every client walked away feeling genuinely better.
His most rewarding chapter came from working with elite athletes at Johnson C. Smith University. For six years, Edward helped track stars, All-Americans, and future Olympians recover faster and perform at their peak.
Picture walking into a peaceful studio, weighed down by endless workdays, tight muscles, and nagging pain. An hour later, you step out feeling lighter and completely renewed. This isn’t magic. It’s the Wright Bodywork and Wellness (WBW) difference, where every massage is carefully designed to help heal, restore, and empower you to live your best life.
Why WBW Isn’t Just Another Massage—It’s a Life-Changing Experience
Precision Meets Personalization
We skip the cookie-cutter approach entirely. Edward truly listens to your body, pinpointing problem areas and designing each session around your specific needs.
Award-Winning Expertise You Can Trust
With certifications in Kinesio Taping, Cupping, Lymphatic Drainage, and Prenatal Massage, Edward doesn’t just relax muscles—he rehabilitates them. His extensive work with athletes brings insight into how the body moves, heals, and flourishes.
Beyond the Table: A Complete Approach to Wellness
Your transformation doesn’t end when the session does. Edward takes time to educate clients on posture, stretching, and self-care routines that help extend your results.
“I don’t just want to help your pain. I want to help you rediscover what your body is truly capable of.” — Edward Wright
